In our latest Clever Payment Gateway release (V20.5), we’ve added exciting new features - namely the inclusion of Payment Links! 

First things first, what exactly is Clever Payment Gateway?

Clever Payment Gateway is an app that enables businesses to take card payments securely within Business Central. Compatible with Opayo, Stripe and Barclaycard, it allows payments by phone, invoice, or through a secure link or QR code. By using tokens, it stays PCI compliant and updates payments automatically in Business Central, helping to reduce admin, speed up collections and enhance security.

Back to the new update - what does the addition of payment links mean for businesses?

Instead of asking customers to share card details over the phone, businesses can now send a secure payment link directly to the customer via Business central. This now means the customer can not only make a payment using their own devices but also in their own time.

No card details spoken aloud. No uncertainty about storing sensitive data. Just a smoother, more transparent and secure way to collect a payment. 

But we thought, what could we do to make this even better?

Here at Clever Dynamics, we love to work with both Partners and Customers, listening to feedback and improving our products. So when a suggestion was raised to include something on the Posted Invoice too, we did it.

So now, for no additional license cost, you can include these payment links as a QR code on your Sales Invoices.

For the Customer, they can simply scan the QR code or click the link directly from the document. This means they can see exactly what they’re paying for, on their mobile devices in seconds.

Such flexibility now puts the customer in control and reduces the back-and-forth between your team and the customer. No more chasing, no more delays - customers get everything they need to pay, instantly.
