What are the key features of the app?
The Clever Labelling App is packed with features designed to make your labelling process more efficient and accurate.
Here are some of the key features you can expect:
Barcode Generation
- Generate a variety of barcodes quickly and effortlessly. The app supports multiple barcode formats, making it suitable for different industries and applications.
- You can show multiple barcodes on a label design and configure the information that needs to be shown based on your needs. This includes compatibility with GS1-128 so that you can include things like Batch Nos. and Expiry Dates on your labels.
Trigger Management
- Clever Labelling allows you to control when you want to print a label by representing the actions that you perform within Dynamics 365 Business Central as a set of Triggers that you can choose to Activate based on your business processes.
- Need to print labels for goods on arrival into your warehouse? No problem – simply activate the Purchase Receipt Label Trigger!
Trigger Criteria
Do you have different label requirements for your Items? Not a problem!
With Clever Labelling you’re able to use filters to print a multitude of different labels, for the same process, based on product information. Using the built-in Wizard, you’ll be walked through the setup process, removing complexity and getting your new label ready to print in minutes.
Here’s an example of setting up a different Label Design based on a specific warehouse location.
Development and release
Simply start by selecting the business process for which you wish to print a label (we call this the Label Trigger Type) and then choose your Label Design.
The Label Design can be one which is provide with Clever Labelling or from your Bartender /Loftware label library if you have set up the integration.
Now choose the filter criteria type you wish to use (in my case a Location Code)
Enter the value to be used as the filter criteria.
Once you’ve done this, your new trigger will be ready to Activate.
Clever Labelling provides control and flexibility, allowing you to create the labels you need, when you need them, ensuring you’re able to quickly identify your products and move them around the Warehouse efficiently using scanning solutions, such as Clever WMS Devices.
